CONNECT Community Paramedic Academy accepts OSN’s Silly Sock Challenge

Recently, a challenge (not unlike the the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge) was posed by Pittsburgh Mercy Health System. #PGHMercySillySocks challenged willing participants to wear funky (designed, not smelling) socks, take a photo or video, and post the media to a social media site of their choosing. Groups from around Pittsburgh have been participating since the April 19th start.

During our 2017 Spring Community Paramedic Academy we asked our instructors and students to “join in the silliness!” Afterwards, CONNECT Community Paramedics donated $200.00 to the cause and challenged a few of our friends to do the same.
